Promotion!

On the last day of the season, Torden FK finally secured promotion after beating FK Cocio 5-0. A record attendance of 74 754 witnessed the club reaching the 4th division for the first time in their (nearly) twenty years of history.

It was one of those days you could feel something big was coming. A packed home ground was dressed in black and yellow, and the players confidence was sky high as thirteen out of thirteen wins was completed. Still, only a victory was enough to reach directly to the fourth division, as a loss probably meant qualification matches.

But there were no sign of doubt. TFK set the tone from the start as Rodrigues dribbled on the left side and made it 1-0. Then, Iskarev added another before Chanson made it 3-0 before half time. The second half was more of a conformity. Joona Poskiparta secured the 4-0 goal, and the topscorer title as well with 15 goals. A nice first season for him!

As the final whistle blew, fans stormed the pitch and celebrated with fans and family.

We now look ahead of our first ever season in forth division with great expectations. The ranking of the division gives us almost no hopes, but we will of course do our very best to stay up.
