KITS

History of the kits

The years before the kit designer

Even before the club entered hat trick, it was clear that the kits were to be black and yellow striped with yellow shorts. The kits were already drawn in the dice game by manager "Tordane", and it was therefore quite natural that the first kits followed these patterns, sometime around 2004. The challenge at the start was that there was no kit simulator in the game, meaning that what was reflected in the game did not match the original design. The very first digital kits, was therefore made in the simple program "Paint" for season 11 and 12. It is worth noticing that the green, black and red elements from the Nyhøyden-flag, still was not

implementede, hence the somewhat strange orange away kit. We also see that TFK went for Motorola as a sponsor, and that they played a bit with the pattern around the sleeves and at the bottom of the shorts. Other than that, it is worth mentioning that the club only operated with three stripes on the kit; one yellow in the middle, covered by two black stripes on each flank. This was, however, probably fewer stripes than what was drawn in the original kits which were drawn by hand. In the first seasons, the colors of the away kits changed a lot, in everything from orange, pink to blue. In addition, the design of the stripes on the kits was partly changed as well.

Hattricks kit designer is born

Not unitill season 26 (27.12.2008) did hattrick offer its own kit design in the game. The design did not offer a lot of possibilities, but with a little creativity it was possible to get the kits relatively close to the originals. It was from this season that TFK adopted the kit colors from the Nyhøyden flag, which they´ve continued ever since. The same period also saw a number of numerous main sponsors on the kits, such as Hewlett Packard and KIA. The club also experimented with two, three and four stripes (at the most) on the kit, and also collected a lot of kit inspiration from clubs like Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid.

Todays kits

Today's kits follow the traditional ideas with yellow and black striped kits, and yellow shorts as home kits, and the colors from the Nyhøyden flag in the away kits. As the hattrick-kit simulator has improved, it has also become easier to design the kits with a nicer look. Today's kit supplier is Hummel, with logos on the jersey, shorts and socks, and the main sponsor with the same place in the middle of the kit. In addition, a hat-trick logo has been added in the bottom corner of the kit, as well as the Nyhøyden flag at the top of the collar on both the home and away kit. On the back, the club's slogan "Per Aspera Ad Astra" is also added. The kit currently have four yellow stripes and three black stripes, but will be flexible about this, just as it has been throughout the club's history.
