Every story has an end, and for TFK it ends with silverware after a fantastic Consolation Cup run. Todays final was a close battle between division four colleagues Torden FK and Xemriet FC, which saw the latter bringing the trophy home after a 2-1 win.
Coach Caspar Homner had this to say about todays performance;
- They’re ranked 432 spots above us and we played without our best player. Still, we managed to keep it a close one both possession wise and in chances. We also could’ve had a penalty, but what done is done. I’m really proud of the boys and what they’ve achieved in the Consolation Cup this season.
Only two games remains in the league, but the tension is gone as our boys are already relegated. However, there’s no doubt we’re finishing our two games in style!
