Champions again!

Another season - another trophy! For the second time in two attempts in the fifth division! In the last series round, we beat Tiriltoppen BK a full 0-9(!), and thus win division V.81 with 32 points - exactly the same as last season.

Great expectations were attached to the last series round in V.81. After TFK beat league leader Hylstad IL in the previous round, it was clear that a new TFK victory would be enough to become champions. However, Tiriltoppen BK was an opponent we have struggled with before, so the task looked difficult.

- It was a difficult starting point, because Tiriltoppen has had a good hold on us. Last year they held us to a draw in both games and we have never beaten them. But we had a good plan today, and we've trained for this game for a long time and everyone followed the plan as they should.

In the second game, Hylstad IL were chasing first place, and could only hope that TFK stumbled as long as they did the work themselves. They did that too, with an impressive 7-0 at home against the Exquisite Wildcats. Still, it was not enough, and they had to watch the Kongsvinger boys bring home the trophy once again.

Now a tough qualification awaits against a fourth division team. The guys have put in a lot of effort now, so we don't have high hopes. But the game has to be played, so we won't take any sorrows in advance either.
